The lodge is open June to September. Temperatures can be hot during the summer months, while cold and wet conditions are not uncommon in early June and late September. Conditions change quickly on the Cariboo plateau; come prepared for all types of weather.
While there is no dress code at the ranch, smart-casual attire is typically worn at dinner. The lodge provides fishing equipment and licenses, swim towels, and boots and helmets for guests who do not have their own riding apparel.
Siwash strives to offer engaging wilderness excursions that are carefully crafted to encourage quality time among families. All accommodations can host groups traveling with children, and the ranch’s meadows, forests, and waterfalls create a natural playground where kids can interact with wildlife and learn about the environment.
