Food and Drink

Borgo Pignano takes the concept of farm-to-table to the next level, treating guests to home-grown, hyper-local Tuscan food that the lodge describes as “0km cuisine.” The estate produces its own cold-pressed olive oils, wines, fruits, vegetables, honeys, and jams. Organic wheat flours—ground from grains grown in its fields—result in scrumptious pastas, breads, and desserts, while free-range pigs and chickens provide a bounty of fresh eggs and meat. Guests can feast on these and other locally sourced ingredients at the lodge’s elegant restaurant, Villa Pignano, which features a seasonally inspired, innovative, and refined menu. During the summer, the more casual Restaurant Al Fresco serves stone-baked pizza and Tuscan classics in an enchanting garden setting. Additionally, family-style meals are offered seasonally throughout the year, providing a friendly and communal dining experience.
