There are 83 rooms, most in the oldest part of the castle, and every single one makes you feel like royalty. Each is individually decorated with antiques and period textiles that transport you back several centuries—and yet they are firmly planted in this century, equipped with Wi-fi, a Bluetooth speaker, cable television, electric blinds, and a USB charger. All rooms feature luxuriantly comfortable beds, bathrobes and slippers, an in-room bar, 110-volt sockets, a hairdryer, deluxe toiletries, a safe, an iron and ironing board, and individually controlled air conditioning. Room service is available 24 hours.
These elegant rooms are thoughtfully appointed and have king-size beds and lovely modern bathrooms. Some look out over Lough Corrib.
Nine Deluxe rooms offer king beds and seating areas, a beautiful bathroom, and stunning views of Ashford Estate or Lough Corrib. Interconnecting rooms are available.
With views of Lough Corrib and the Parterre Gardens, these five rooms feature two queen beds and a comfortable sitting area. Bathrooms have a separate shower and marble sinks. Families often choose these rooms as they can accommodate two adults and two children (under the age of 12).
Featuring four-poster beds and fabulous views, the seven Junior Staterooms are richly decorated and spacious. Some offer split-level sitting areas.
The six Staterooms are grand statements of traditional elegance and comfort, with high ceilings, lake views, regally decorated beds, and original fireplaces. The Staterooms also feature large bathrooms and some include pedestal claw baths.
Along with a beautifully appointed bedroom and king-size bed, the four Suites offer a large private dining space as well as views of the River Cong or the lake.
These exquisite split-level suites feature high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling views of Lough Corrib, an original fireplace, a George III-style four-poster bed and other remarkable antiques, original portraits, as well as two marbled bathrooms with under floor heating. Champagne and chocolate are offered on arrival, canapés are delivered each evening, and the in-room bar is complimentary. Upon booking, it is possible to request two adjacent rooms to create a private three-bedroom wing of the castle with one entrance door.
Perched on the shores of Lough Corrib, the private cottage is a perfect hideaway for honeymooners or others seeking space and time to be together. The old stone structure has a beautifully designed interior, a working fireplace, and a wooden deck overlooking the lake, where private meals can be taken al fresco. In-room spa treatments are available, as well as private butler service, and a designated golf buggy is available for easy transportation around the estate.
