Vanuatu enjoys a tropical and sub-tropical maritime climate. Summers are hot and humid and last from November to March, with daily temperatures averaging 82° F. Winter lasts from April to October, with daily average temperatures in the low 70s° F. The water is always warm, and rainfall is frequent, though the northwestern coast of Efate Island—where The Havannah Vanuatu is situated—enjoys a drier climate than other parts of Vanuatu.
Pack for the tropics—a bathing suit, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, sandals, and light, loose-fitting clothing—plus a pair of comfortable, close-toed shoes for excursions and suitable footwear for the beach. Consider bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt for the evenings, especially if you visit during the winter months. Attire at The Havannah Vanuatu is casual and beach-friendly; however, for visits to local communities, guests should dress conservatively, with covered legs and shoulders for both men and women.
The Havannah Vanuatu is an adults-only resort and welcomes guests 16 years of age and older.
