Located on Malolo Island in Fiji’s Mamanuca archipelago, Likuliku Lagoon Resort is reached by 10- to 15-minute seaplane or helicopter transfer from Nadi International Airport. It can also be accessed by fast catamaran or private speedboat from the main port on the island of Viti Levu, 16 miles away.
Medical care is available at a nurse’s station that is 15 minutes away by speed boat, and there is a defibrillator on site. Each guest accommodation features an emergency button. There are no ATMs on the island, but Likuliku is a cash-free resort.
Fiji enjoys a tropical maritime climate with daily temperatures averaging in the low 80s˚ F from March to August and low 90s˚ F from September to February. The water is always warm; from November to February, water temperatures can reach 84˚ F. December to April is the wet season, when local showers are typically heavy but brief.
Pack for the tropics—a bathing suit, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, sandals, and light clothing—plus a pair of comfortable, close-toed shoes for excursions and suitable footwear for the beach. Dress at Likuliku is casual and beach-friendly; however, for visits to local communities, Fijian customs dictate conservative attire with covered shoulders for both men and women and covered legs for women.
Likuliku is an adults-only resort and welcomes guests who are 18 years or older.
