Sukau Rainforest Lodge offers two packages that offer two distinct ways to encounter wildlife: on foot or on a river safari. Packages also include delicious meals and accommodation in one of the lodge’s 20 newly refurbished rooms, which are set along verandas facing verdant gardens.
Each 250-square-foot (25 sq. meter) room sleeps two or three in twin- or queen-size beds and features a sunroom and tea lounge area with views of the garden. Décor is simple and tasteful. Bathrooms feature a solar-heated shower, and, in keeping with the ecological principles of the lodge, rooms are cooled by ceiling fans and open, screened windows instead of air conditioning. A telephone and safety deposit box are available in each room, and hair dryers and irons can be provided upon request. Please note that there are no televisions at the lodge.
