Sayari Camp: Plan Your Stay

Located in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

How to Get There

Guests can fly directly from Arusha (Kilimanjaro International Airport) to the Kogatende Airstrip, where Sayari staff will arrange a complimentary road transfer to the lodge (a 20-minute drive). The lodge can also be reached from the Masai Mara or the Southern Serengeti via internal bush flights.

What to Expect

Sayari is located in a remote corner of the Serengeti National Park, where environment and animals take priority over cars and roads. For this reason, game drives and transfers—especially those in open safari vehicles—can be bumpy, dusty, and exposed to the elements. Guests with disabilities can be accommodated upon request.

Weather and Seasons

Tanzania experiences four seasons: long rains, long dry, short rains, and short dry. The longer rainy season typically lasts from March until May with common afternoon downpours and temperatures around 85°F (20°C). The longer dry season is from around June to October with cooler temperatures. Short rains lasts through November and December, and short dry season runs through January and February.
