Ol Donyo’s ten thatch-roof lodgings are nestled in the trees on the slopes of the Chyulu Hills and look out on a sweeping view of the acacia-dotted savanna that stretches all the way to Mount Kilimanjaro. Private, spacious verandas blend indoor and outdoor living areas, and each suite is individually decorated, drawing design inspiration from traditional Maasai architecture and appointed with handicrafts from across Africa. Most suites have private plunge pools, and each is crowned with a rooftop terrace with a cozy outdoor “star bed.”
