After a walk or a game viewing drive through the South Luangwa National Park, guests at The Bushcamp Company are invited to make their own pizza. Homemade pizza dough is topped with tomato sauce, a selection of fresh vegetables, chicken, salami and chorizo. Parmesan, mozzarella and cheddar cheese with fresh garlic and chili adds the finishing touch. Chefs cook the pizza while the guests enjoy a choice of salads and garlic bread. Below is the homemade pizza dough recipe, to try out at home!
Mix together the salt, yeast, olive oil and warm water. Make a well in the flour and add the wet ingredients. Mix together and then knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Leave to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Once risen, knock back the dough and roll out on a floured surface. Cut into the desired size. Place your favourite toppings on the base and cook in the pizza oven.
