Details

  • Rates are per person, per night based on double occupancy
  • Nimmo Bay is open from May through October each year.
  • As transportation schedules only allow for guests to arrive and depart on Mondays and Thursdays, Nimmo Bay accommodates stays of three, four, and seven days.
  • Helicopter day trips can be added onto the Wilderness and Wildlife Package.
  • Rates apply to both cabin types.

Wilderness and Wildlife Adventure Rates

May 1- October 31, 2017 $1,400

Rates for single travelers staying in May or June will be the double occupancy rate plus a single supplement of $370.00 per night.
Due to high demand, there will be no single supplement for single travelers staying in July-October and the rate will be twice the per person rate above.

Helicopter Adventure & Heli-Fishing Rates

Rates are per person per night, depending on the number of guests sharing a helicopter. Helicopters can seat up to six guests dependent on the total weight limit. If group weight exceeds the legal weight limit, an additional helicopter will be required at an additional cost.

  • National Geographic Exclusive: Take a private sunset dinner cruise through Whales Pass, Mackenzie Sound, and Nimmo Bay, watching for whales and dolphins along the way.
  • All meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day
  • Beverages including house wine, beer, and spirits
  • Adventure & all-weather gear
  • All guided activities
  • Adventure guides (excluding saltwater fishing)
  • Round-trip transfers between Port Hardy and Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort via helicopter or floatplane (depending on the package purchased)
  • Limited Wi-fi available in common areas
  • Limited laundry services

Not Included

  • Premium alcohol and specialty wine
  • Spa treatments
  • Fishing licenses
  • Optional specialty activities, including: additional helicopter time, saltwater fishing guide, and day trips with Sea Wolf Adventures
  • GST tax of 2.5% for non-Canadian guests or 5% for Canadian guests, as well as room tax of $10 per person, per night

Child Policy

  • Children age 2 and under are welcome free of charge.
  • Children from 3-12 years old staying in a cabin with 2 adults receive a 25% discount for Wilderness and Wildlife Adventure and Raincoast Retreat packages.
  • Childcare is available upon request at an additional charge.
